SHUKOS is setting a clear path for the future by developing its Strategic Plan 2026-2031. This forward-looking initiative, supported by the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) and the Swiss Water Association (VSA), highlights a collaborative effort aimed at strengthening water sector leadership and sustainability in the Western Balkans.
Strategic Planning Workshops: A Collaborative Effort
Two intensive workshops laid the groundwork for SHUKOS’s strategic development:
- Engaging Key Stakeholders: The first workshop welcomed representatives from ministries, regulators, universities, and donors, whose valuable insights helped shape strategic priorities.
- Board-Led Visioning: In the second workshop, SHUKOS Board Members and directors of regional utility companies worked together to define the organization’s future direction.
Through expert-led sessions and peer learning facilitated by VSA, SHUKOS is enhancing its leadership capacity and preparing an actionable roadmap for its continued growth.
Looking Ahead: Sustaining Collaboration and Development
The continuous partnership between SHUKOS, RCDN, and VSA underscores a shared vision for a sustainable water future. By investing in capacity development and fostering strategic planning, SHUKOS is paving the way for a resilient and well-equipped water sector in Kosovo.
