On 30 January 2025, the Regional Capacity Development Network (RCDN) successfully held the first in a series of online peer exchanges focused on Managing Training Units (TU) and Pool of Trainers (PoT). Conducted via MS Teams, the session brought together training managers from partner
associations across the Western Balkans to share best practices and strategies for effective training management.

- Internal vs External Trainers’ Engagement: The session compared different models for engaging trainers, highlighting best practices for leveraging internal expertise while strategically utilizing external consultants.
Collaboration and Peer Learning
The online peer exchange provided a platform for participants to share experiences, challenges, and solutions in managing training units. Representatives from ZELS, SHUKOS, UoMM, ADKOM, and other associations shared their approaches to training needs assessment, trainer recruitment, and quality assurance.
