ZELS Working Group on Water Management Sets Timeline for Policy Proposals

The Working Group on Water Management (WGWW), established through the Commission for Environment and Communal Affairs of ZELS, has set a clear timeline for developing policy proposals aimed at improving water management in North Macedonia. The process is supported by representatives from the ZELS Network on Environment Protection and ADKOM, strengthening collaboration between municipalities and public utility companies.

The initial meeting of the Working Group focused on identifying the challenges municipalities face in water management and planning future activities within ZELS project.

The WGWW aims to address pressing water regulation issues, propose legal solutions, and enhance municipal input on environmental and communal topics. This initiative follows the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between ZELS and ADKOM, reinforcing their joint commitment to sustainable water management in the country.

Stay tuned for updates on this collaborative effort toward more efficient and transparent water management policies.
