16 September 2019, Bihac – With the support of RCDN, Aquasan Network in BiH organized working meeting with media to promote first Policy Paper in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Comprehensive Improvement of the Water Service Sector.
The event was attended by the representatives of printed, electronic and written media that cover cantonal, entity and national media in BiH.
Vesna Muslic, president of Aquasan Network in BiH, explained the purpose of the document and participatory development process for the Policy Paper – developed with the active involvement of relevant actors from water sector and upcoming steps. The Policy Paper will be adopted during next Platform for Dialogue meeting in November 2019, followed by the Action Plan with clear roles and responsibilities of all actors in the process of water sector reform.
Based on media inquiries, Aquasan clarified that water sector reform brings correction of water tariffs but also improved quality of services.
