Fourteen representatives from eight RCDN partner associations of local governments (LGAs) and associations of water utilities (APUCs) successfully completed the RCDN online training „Training Management Cycle and Corresponding Quality Standards.”
The training took place on 22 and 23 September 2020 providing the participants with the opportunity to benefit from learning about key elements of training management cycle, quality delivery of RCDN capacity development formats, such as “Training\” and \”Peer Exchange\”, and application of the corresponding RCDN Quality Standards. The participants also exchanged experiences and good practices on so-far training and peer exchange delivery. The training was delivered by Ms. Jelena Janevska and Mr. Miodrag Kolic from NALAS, members of the RCDN Project Implementation Team.
Development of RCDN partner associations through, amongst others, strengthening their capacities to delivery quality capacity development measures to local governments and water utilities according to the established RCDN Quality Standards is one of the outcomes contributing to achieving the RCDN objective: Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the water utility companies in the Western Balkans, thus contributing to a better service provision for larger numbers of population groups that get access to drinking water and sanitation services, consistent with the EU environmental Acquis Communautaire.
